Boynedale production facility, Gladstone region

A ~$30 million facility with initial capacity of 35,000 tonnes of bio-pellets per year, scalable to 400,000 tonnes under the Rio Tinto agreement. Development Application lodged with Gladstone Regional Council, with strong support from the local community. The bana grass plantation and the processing plant are located immediately adjacent to each other.

Offtake Agreement

Rio Tinto: Gladstone alumina refineries

Five-year agreement to supply bio-pellets for refinery boilers at Rio Tinto's alumina refineries in Gladstone, initially blending bio-pellets with coal. At full contract volumes the arrangement could reduce Rio Tinto's reported Scope 1 emissions by up to 90,000 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent annually.
